The search for yellow. Since posting my color choice earlier
this year I’ve had LOTS of people provide information on
Lotus Yellow and hints where to find a color code. So far for I
have the following:
- Code: LOTUS YELLOW
- Paint Supplier: PJ 6170X3940 /ICI P0309547
- Colour Spec. NO. A036B6321V /B036B6321V
- Lotus Part NO. L07
No paint supplier I’ve found can cross reference these
numbers. I’ve also been pointed to a reference in a 1997
Lotus parts catalog to that alludes to the availability of
“…Lotus touch-up paints theoretically available in 1997
which includes A036B6418S Touch-in Lotus Yellow L07. I’ve
contacted both Lotus USA and Lotus UK to see if this is still
available. I’ve also contacted several of the UK Lotus
suppliers to see if they have a paint code.
