All the engine parts have arrived and I’m trying to schedule some time for the assembly. The DMV says I can use old plates on my car. There is an extra $50 charge every two years. I think I can live with that. A friend gave me a set of headers. I’m cleaning up the flange surface and various other ugly welds. If the ports match and they fit well, I’ll get them coated....

Not much real work on the car this week since the local Lotus Club is having a track day this weekend and I’ve been spending time getting the Caterham prepared. According the this guy, I can use 1966 plates when I register my car. I’ve contacted the DMV to find out.
