Track Day

Nut and bolt check for Friday track day.

Replaced the electric temp gauge with a mechanical (VDO) gauge.
I never trusted the electric gauges. There were two tricks to
this. First the fan switch was moved from the thermostat housing
to the top of the radiator to make room for the new gauge. The
second was finding the appropriate adaptor to fit the VDO sender
into the thermostat housing. The housing has an M22 opening
while the gauge used a 5/8"-18 UNF self sealing nut. The
only adaptor I could find was from Murphy gauges, part number
10-05-0606 Murphy Sleeve. I went to a local speedometer shop who
got it for me in a week.
