The body came home from the paintshop yesterday. The color is exactly what I wanted and makes the silver bumpers pop out. 2677I took several pieces of the chrome and putt hem on the body. While they are in good shape, the fresh paint makes the chrome look old. Looks like I’ll be visiting the chrome shop.   Many people have asked what the color code or mixing formula forthe paint is. These numbers mean nothing to me but here they aredirectly off the can.:

  • Deltron 2000 Basecoat
  • VOC: 5.4/% Lead: 7.22/MSDS:DBC2
  • Tinting Guide: DBC83444
  • DMD643: 1704.4
  • DMD1684: 1047.6
  • DMD616: 49.2
  • DMD647: 12.4
  • DBX1689: 1915.2
