Temporarily installed the header to check for clearance. Everything clears, so now I’ll send it off to be ceramic coated. Spent some time today mounting the engine and gearbox into the chassis.

A very importantthing to remember is which side of the engine the spacers go. I hadthe mounts and spacers in a bag all nice and labeled. I took thebits out of the bag, yesterday, and set them on the bench. Today Ihad forgotten which bag they came from. Oops. After a bit of trialand error I figure out they go on the left side. Also needed todrill holes for the transmission cross member. I also made sure torepaint inside the holes to stop (slow?) any future rusting.Ran the fuel line. On the TTR chassis, the underside of the top rail has been gusseted for added strength.

Unfortunately this blocks one of the holes the stock fuel line runsthrough. I carefully cut a flap in the added gusset to run the fuelline. I also enlarged the existing holes and added grommets inorder to accommodate the Aeroquip -6 line.
