She Runs!

Yipee! At 12:30 this afternoon I started the car for the first time. She ran great and only a small drip of oil from the transmission drain plug, easy enough to fix.

Wiring Check

The wiring checked out with only a couple small problems One switch with high resistance which I should have caught earlier. Radiator fans run backward, I read the instructions for a pusher fan and still hooked them up backwards The heater and panel lamp switches are in upside down

Powered up

I “powered up” the car today using a small 12 volt power supply with a 3 amp fuse. No smoke, no blown fuses! I’m going through all the devices to make sure power is being applied where and when it is supposed to be. I have a copy of the wiring diagram with notes of the differences in my car and the additions I’ve made. This is invaluable. While the harness was on the...

Last minute checks

Only a couple things left to do before I try and start the car.I was trying to complete the check list so I could start the cartoday, but a couple things tool longer than I thought. I installed the electric fuel pump in the well on the right sideof the fuel tank and the electrics behind the fuel filler.
