Doors

With the help of SHMBO, I installed the right hand window frame and window motor into the right hand door skin. I even hooked up the window motor to my trusty power supply and ran the window up and down a couple of times. Very exciting.

After making sure the lock mechanism worked, we re-hung the door. When I removed the doors, I made sure to count the number of turns on the hinge pins. A simple reversal of the turns and the doors lined up. Tomorrow I’ll temporarily fit the door gasket and the interior trim to finish the alignment.

This is what the car looked like when I bought it
