The carpet on the side panels of Elan have some rug binding or upholstery binding sewn onto the carpet along the door edge. The carpet kit I purchased didn’t have the binding. Fortunatly for me, my friend again volunteered to help with the sewing. I took about 2 hours and one bought of cussing to get all the sewing done. Carpet and seats

I’m almost done with the carpet installation. Nothing out of the ordinary, just very time consuming. I took a couple of pictures but the black carpet doesn’t show too well. Since I forgot to mention the car was left hand drive, the foot well carpet is cut for the peddle assembly in the right foot well. I’m still trying to decide how to fix this.
