Carpet
The carpet on the side panels of Elan have some rug binding or upholstery binding sewn onto the carpet along the door edge. The carpet kit I purchased didn’t have the binding. Fortunatly for me, my friend again volunteered to help with the sewing. I took about 2 hours and one bought of cussing to get all the sewing done. I still need to make the new fiberboard panels, glue down the carpet and do some trimming before installing the side panels. Oh, I also will need to cut and trim where the side intrusion bars come through the side panels. This weekend is rather booked with taxes and such so I probably won’t get back to this until next week.
