Over the past week or so, I’ve been letting the headliner stretch in place in an attempt to minimize any wrinkles. I used a whole slew of binder clips to hold the headliner in place while I stretched things and then while I was gluing. I also took a moment to glue the side badges in place. Leaks and Leaks

Still trying to find that annoying oil leak. I drained the gearbox and refilled with MTL. I also added a bit of florescent dye to make any leaks easier to find. When I purchased the gearbox, I had a drain plug and a top filler installed. This makes the gearbox maintenance as easy as a regular oil change. Electrical Gremlins

I started the car yesterday and blew the fuse for the tach, fuel gauge, heater motor, wiper motor and cigarette lighter. With a meter it looked like a direct short to ground. I disconnected each circuit put couldn’t find a clear problem. I hate it when that happens. I reconnected everything but the cigarette lighter. Lets hope this doesn’t happen again.

Interior – Seats

I got the seats back from the upholstery shop and they look great. Did I mention I took them to a shop? I cut and installed new foam, then tried to put the new cover on one of the bases. I pulled and pulled for a couple of hours and could quite get it to look right. If I messed this up, either the interior would look shody or I would need to buy...
