I made actual progress on the punch list over the last couple of days. The big achievement was getting the speedo working. I pulled the cable and the speedo and hooked everything together on the bench. On the transmission end I put my trusty drill motor. On with the drill and everything worked. Strange....

Another major milestone in the restoration project. I drove all the way to the insurance company to apply for classic car insurance. This was the longest, and most nerve racking, drive yet. Total loop was 20 miles with speeds of up to 60 MPH!
