Car Cover

I noticed the Elan was getting dirty(!) sitting in the garage and I didn’t like that. I decided a car cover was in order, but where do you find a car cover for a Lotus Elan? Getting Real

Things are getting exciting! Our BritRail passes arrived today. We got the four day in a 2 month period type which should cover our trip from London to the wall and back (via Bletchley Park), as well as our day trip to the Plymouth Historic Dockyard. We also bought new hiking shoes last month that we’re breaking in. What’s a trip without new clothes?

A nimble car

Everytime I take the car out, I am surprised how nimble and delicate it feels. Moving quickly along country roads is a delight. The entire car is well balance and just a joy to drive. I’m starting to learn why people have loved this car for more than 30 years.

Breakfast. John spills, and spills and almost contaminates the coffee pot. Strange laws in Oregon. Trying to fit four people in a two person turret. Jim gets world’s largest egg, scrambled. Off to Ft. Stevens Park to climb all over coastal batteries – a favorite activity here at unibrain. Then to custard king in Astoria for more food. Next stop is the heritage museum.
