The walk to Chesters Fort was worth it. I’m a little frustrated that my muscles and heart and lungs are up for the all day walking but my dogs are barking. We waited until after the rain for the quick 1.8 mile walk to the fort. Well we tried to wait until after the rain and got a little wet on the way. Another fun thing – at the b&b’s where we we’ve been staying, the keys are old fashioned skeleton keys. Met up with the wall path today: right there was a large chunk of wall. Very exciting.
