Obsessive Wall Behaviors

While Jim is obsessing over the size of his daypack and how many gigs of digital storage he needs, I’m working on my own priorities: reading all my assigned reading before we leave! Kind friends and family keep tossing Hadrian related books my way, my various new bosses have sent me books to make me a more useful person, and my soon-to-be-a-mother friend has loaded me with books regarding adoption, China, and child rearing. I’m starting to dream that Hadrian built a enterprise architecture framework using leadership principles first developed by a well behaved Chinese foundling.

Plus I need to finish knitting a blanket before someone’s first birthday the end of July!

In between that I am frantically searching for rainpants in June. I suspect I need a proper rain hat, as well. How can I have lived in the Northwest for eight and half years and not acquired these? I guess we just don’t bother.
