Today started as the worst of the trip. Well it didn’t really start bad, our innkeeper drove us the mile up the hill to the trailhead and we started our walk at 0900 toward the highest point on the wall. We reached it about 30-45 minutes later and took the obligatory photos. Soon after we continued the walk it began to rain. Not like the rain of the past few days, but a driving rain. The wind was up and the rain drove into my face. Only 9 more miles to go.
