Apple Pie

This was the first year I let the apple tree grow a bunch of apples. Yesterday was harvest day and we got a large grocery bag full of apples, too many to just eat. What were we to do? My mom and I made an apple pie! We harvested in the morning, baked in the afternoon and had fresh apple pie with vanilla ice cream for dinner. Yum.

Gearbox and header

During the last track day I had a bit of oil, well a lot, dripping from the gearbox. Jon came over and we pulled the engine in an hour or so and examined things. We didn’t find a huge gaping hole in anything but think we found a small leak from the front cover and one of the plugs. We used a little sealer, put things back together and slipped the engine back in....

Ping pong and Elk

1378 We’ve been playing ping pong. Jim is noticeably better than I am. So I’ve decided that when my points total 21 I win. We’ve played 8 or so games and I have 17 points. At one point I resorted to using my feminine wiles.
