Walking in the rain

We slept a straight 12 hours, got up and headed out for a walk. Since I’d only had half a cup of coffee and no breakfast I wasn’t sure how far I wanted to go. 1369 Lake Quinault Lodge On the lawn behind and all around the lodge are rabbits. We asked about them and were told someone left a few domesticated rabbits a couple of years ago. Now there where about 25 feral rabbits on the grounds. Seems it is true about rabbits. Over heard on the deck was the tale of a mother cougar that brought her kits to the back lawn to learn how to hunt...

Bad food

On the trip we stopped for lunch and found the exception to the rule that a crowded restaurant is a good restaurant. Someone claimed they could only eat sourdough bread. We think this was a modified Atkins program.

1362 1366 A hand of crib in the car, which Jim won, and a game of go fish, which Jim won, and a game of war, which Jim didn’t win, to kill the time until we bored the ferry.
