Got up early and joined the frequent stay program. If we stay 28 more nights we get a free night in the penthouse. Of course we need to bring the punch card with us every time. Port Angeles and Victoria at Last

A very pretty drive up 101 to Port Angeles, all except for the strange one lane pace car thingy that Washington dot decided to have. About 3 miles long and two lanes except for 100 feet where a tractor was parked. Once at PA, Port Angeles for those not from the area, we hopped on the ferry and found a place to relax. Centralia, WA

Spent the afternoon in Centralia, only 1.5 hours from the house. It may seem like a short leg of the trip but it got us out of town and makes the trip to port Angeles much easier. We ended up at the Olympic Hotel and Club, a McMenamins hotel. Just funky enough with a great history. The club was a logger hangout, card room, barber shop and speakeasy during the depression.
