On Friday night, after 3 years, I picked up my Elise. It (or should it be she? or he?) is Saffron Yellow with Blue Leather Interior. My initial reaction to seeing my car was, Yippee!. I’ve only gotten more excited over the last days.

Taking the first little drives around town and out to a local winery left me with the following impressions
- The yellow is a Great Color for the NorthWest
- The ride is better than you would expect
- It is going to be hard to maintain the ‘under 4000′ revs edict for the first 600 miles
- Handling is second to none with light, almost delicate, controls that respond immediately
- The boot truly is small. We need to relearn how to pack light
- It is truly hard to enter and exit gracefully. My wife advises against wearing a skirt
