Kato died this afternoon. He developed a tumor under his tongue and was no longer able to eat. Nadya and I made the tough decision to put him to sleep.
We adopted Kato on July 4, 1989 about a month after we were married. Kato traveled with us through 3 states and 8 homes. He was afraid of mice, loved to sit in small boxes, saved us from the bath and inspected the shower. We will miss him.
