So my notes for this date were on a receipt, but I’m not sure where it is. I did find one note:
We met three older local women and their 4 dogs at a stile and struck up a conversation regarding the island, where to get a nice cup of tea, and land schemes in Florida. One woman said, “Walking must be a nice way to travel as you meet normal people.”
“Normal,” another woman barked, “We’re not normal, we’re dog people!”
We thought it would have made a great script for creature comforts.
