Nerd Picture
QR codes are all the rage in Japan and are showing up in other parts of the world. A QR code is like a hyperlink in the real world. You could attach this to a physical object and then use a QR code reader (aka cellphone with a camera ) a link to a website such as this. The code here is rather useless because it links back to here. Why have a picture to link to yourself? Because it’s cool!

You can create your own codes and get your own reader

The kitchen is done
Not really but we have declared it done. There is a stainless door that needs to be installed over the appliance garage and it should be here next week. I promised I would take some photos of the completed work but things didn’t work out this weekend. Maybe tomorrow.

Grilled Steak Salad with Mustard Tarragon Dressing

R.I.P. Perfect Tommy
Lamont loved to play fetch, chase the cat dancer, eat and sit in Nadya’s lap. He chewed on books and defended us from his mortal enemy: string in all its forms.
He loved Nadya best.
He was so beautiful that a friend tried to buy him from us outright. He was so elegant and well mannered that we called him Perfect Tommy.
Goodbye, sweet prince. We’ll miss you so very much.
